There is something about everything that seems to be calling to me... calling my name. it's in the way that the rain falls upon my face and slides down my cheek, an unsalted tear. and, the way the the beat of a song reverberates inside my ear only to morph with the beat of my heart. it's in the words of others that say what i've always know but never been able to communicate with voice or pen... it's like i'm back inside of my room of my childhood playing along to my own story then hearing the voice of my father calling to me... but this time its not my father... and my heart doesnt pound against my rib cage in fear. it's in the a rose pedels that hold it's sent long after the flower has died, the rebirth of butterflies from caterapilers, the blue whale that makes a fountain as she comes up for air, the monsoon after the dry season... the countless fibers in my scarf. the random songs about everyday life that my roomie makes up on the spot.
Of rain & feathers. Of flame & soil. Of agony & ecstasy. Of humanity & immortality. Of prose & verse. Of life & love. Of light & night. Of flora & fauna. Of song & speach. Of dance & steps. Of visions & dreams. Of simplicity & complexity.

something's calling
