dip after cold droplets fall on my expossed skin
i lay on the soft pokey blades of grass that carpets
this patch of earth, in the shadow of my childhood dwelling
i soak in the rain, as it falls, as if it were the sun warming
me in rays of golden light, instead it's shiverishly cool
beads of water that maybe if i listen hard enough i could
hear them scream as they fall... the storm continues to pour
and the wind tossels my hair, freely flowing my golden locks
in whatever direction it so desires.. a strand sticks to the
wetness of my face, it tickles but i dont bother to move it
doing so would disrupt this moment of something purely divine...
